The dreaded anxiety. Many of experience feelings of anxiety from time to time and, for some of us, it is an almost daily occurrence.

Conventional anxiety medications can be habit forming and are easily misused. Why are sufferers opting for CBD to release their stress and anxiety?

A recent study in Brazil earlier in 2019 has shown that CBD could decrease anxiety. 

Most  of the evidence we have comes from short term studies in humans and from animal research. In 2018, the New York psychiatrist and researcher Dr. Blessing stated “There is really good evidence to suggest that CBD could be an effective treatment of anxiety and addiction, but we need clinical trials to find out.”

Apart from the glowing testimonials from CBD users who have treated their anxiety with CBD oil, there is a growing body of evidence that CBD actually works.  A 2015 research paper “found that existing preclinical evidence strongly supports CBD as a treatment for generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, social anxiety disorder, obsessive–compulsive disorder, and post-traumatic stress disorder”. 

How could CBD work to combat anxiety?
